Delete My Data

Last updated: June 14, 2026

Why Not Prosper does not have user accounts. Most data the app creates (saved organizations, notification preferences, notification history) is stored only on your device. If you turned on notifications, your push token is also stored on our server — see below for how to delete it.

To delete your data, use one of the methods below.

Option 1 — Uninstall the app (iOS and Android)

Uninstalling Why Not Prosper permanently removes all app data from your device, including saved organizations, preferences, and notification history.

Option 2 — Clear app storage (Android)

  1. Open your device Settings.
  2. Tap Apps (or Application Manager).
  3. Find and tap Why Not Prosper.
  4. Tap Storage.
  5. Tap Clear Storage or Clear Data.

This deletes all locally stored data without removing the app.

What data is stored on your device

Notification data on our server

If you turned on notifications, your push token is stored on our server. Turning all notifications off in the app's Preferences screen deletes it immediately. You can also email info@why-not-prosper.org to request deletion.

On-device data

There is no account or server-side profile linked to your on-device data. The methods above (uninstall or clear storage) are sufficient to remove your saved organizations, notification history, and other locally stored data.
